Camping At Spring Gulch
There are just a few seasonal sites still available for 2008, but the benefits of this option are numerous. A seasonal site is cost-effective and allows the freedom of staying on one site. No hassle of towing every weekend or each time you go on vacation, since your RV is on site and always ready for you! These large sites are 70 x 110 wooded lots with water, sewer, cable and 30 or 50 amp metered electrical service and are located in a prime wooded area of the park. With your seasonal contract, you will have FREE miniature golf, FREE admission to the Annual Folk Festival, and Guest Tickets. Plus, you may participate in all of the resort activities for both adults and children!
The seasonal rate for 2008 is $3,875 for two adults plus electric, which is on a meter. Seasonal customers have access to their sites all year long. Children 6-17 years old are $50/year; there is no charge for children under the age of six. Check with our office staff for additional information. |

 Diary Of A Seasonal Camper
I developed an addiction to Spring Gulch Campresort in the fall of 1987. My husband Paul and I caught the "camping bug" and scheduled numerous camping trips to many different parks, with Spring Gulch being the site of our “maiden voyage.” We went exploring the second day; on the third day, we had signed a contract to "go seasonal" and immediately cancelled all other reservations. This was the beginning of almost 10 years of
a wonderfully rewarding association with the other seasonal campers, but most rewarding has been our association with the management of Spring Gulch.
We elected to be involved as volunteers with the Folk Festival and the fabulous Halloween programs, including the Haunted House.
In the fall of 1996, we winterized our unit and rather than leave it on-site, we took it home. It was as though something or someone was talking to us. Paul became very ill during the winter and April was a very sad time for us, as we had to terminate our association as seasonals at Spring Gulch. We never lost the vision that someday we would return, and after five long years, we were able to return "home" again. |
